Three Stringed Violin

I came across an inspiring read and thought of sharing it. This one is going to be an addition to the list of permanent links in the sidebar of this blog. It is an article by Jack Riemer of Houston Chronicle:

Three Stringed Violin

Excerpt from the article:

We figured that he would have to get up, put on the clasps again, pick up the crutches and limp his way off stage - to either find another violin or else find another string for this one. But he didn’t. Instead, he waited a moment, closed his eyes and then signaled the conductor to begin again.

I must thank Ashwin for this.
